Family
My family ancestry is made up of mostly families that came from Schale Germany in 1838 and 1848. They settled in the Elk Grove and Bensenville areas of Cook and DuPage Counties. The family names most common are Landmeier, Harbecke, Schoppe, Garlisch, Mess and Scharringhausen. Being a descendant of these families is a real blessing in my life, in part because they were such good record keepers.

St. Johannes Cemetery
Many of my ancestors are buried in the cemetery at O'Hare International Airport. Those buried there are being reinterred at this time. Below is the website for the company responsible for the moves.

William Behm
Had a great experience in October when I was able to visit the grave of an ancestor at the Edgemont Cemetery in Utica. I have photos if any one wants. William and Caroline Behm.
